THE DAY

  It was a warm summer day and I was at my nanas house just waking up from a great deep sleep. It was finally the day. I got dressed, packed my bag, ate breakfast, and hopped into the car. My Nana, brother, and I drove off to my uncles house 5 minutes away. I was as excited as a someone winning a 1 Million dollar lottery.

  

We finally arrived and we were all ready to go. My cousin Hunter, my brother Jacob, my Uncle Wes, and I got in the car and drove off. My cousin Cara was too little, so my Nana and Cara went back to my Nana’s house.

 

  We arrived at the water park and went and bought our wristbands. When we were inside we took a look around to find a spot to sit and leave our things. We found a spot and then went to explore. We then saw that the big bucket was  about to pour so we took off our cover ups and ran to the bucket. 3,2,1 we all counted and then all of a sudden……….. WHOOSH!!! We became completely wet.

  

After the big bucket poured on us we went to slide down all the slides on the play obstacle for a while. Next we to the racing slides. We all 4 raced to see who would go down the fastest. My Uncle Wes won because he was the biggest and he started first.

  

We made the choice to go to the wave pool and enjoy the waves. We all grabbed a tube then headed toward the deep water. We then decided to go be lazy and hop in the lazy river. We almost fell asleep while sitting, relaxing, and floating along.

 

Next we got to go to our favorite ride, The Green Extreme. It’s one of the world’s largest uphill Water Coaster rides. We waited and waited and waited and waited for about 30 minutes until we finally reached the top. My uncle Wes and I went together while Hunter and Jacob went together. We had a challenge to see who could scream the loudest. Of course I won.”That’s not fair I wasn’t ready!” shouted Hunter. Fine,you and I can do it again. So we went to the top and rode down together. “Breanna won.”stated Jacob and Uncle Wes. “Fine you win” Hunter said softly.

 

After that we went back to relax in the wave pool and then gathered our things so we could could head home. All of us except me got sunburned. We hopped in the car and headed back to my uncle’s house. On the way we stopped to eat at a Wing Stop.

 

 This day at NRH2O was a great day to remember. I’ll never forget this terrific memory. It reminded me of how lucky I was to have a family and how amazing they are. I learned that it is more enjoyable to do things with others than by yourself.

My favorite sense is taste because I can taste anything I want too. My favorite food is French fries and I love the taste of them. I like to eat skittles when I am stressed because they are fruity and delicious. They help me feel like I am in a whole different world. what do they make you feel like? When I taste my favorite food I’m happy and delightful.This is why taste is my favorite sense.
Without taste everything would be awful. I wouldn’t be able to taste my favorite food. I also wouldn’t be able to taste sweet creamy ice cream when I got the opportunity to. I also wouldn’t be able to eat salty popcorn. Now that would be awful! I could think something looked and tasted delicious but I could be wrong but I wouldn’t know because I couldn’t taste. This is how my life would be without taste. 🙂

Why is my hero, my mom? She is my hero because she cares for me when I am sick and she makes me feel warm inside. I love her so much and would not want anything to happen to her. She is always there for me and I hope I can always be there for her.She has brown curly hair like me but blue eyes and they sparkle like the Atlantic Ocean.

My mom is caring. She thinks about others before she thinks about herself. She cares a lot about me and helps me with everything. She’s also loving and sweet. She’s with me a lot and helps me with everything. She’s with me through all the good times and bad times. We are even popcorn buds. One thing we love to do it pop a bag of popcorn and share it, while we watch tv together. This is one of our favorite things to do because we spend time together.

I can trust my mom with anything in the world. She never tells anyone our secrets.. She most of the time never lies to me. I can tell her anything that I need to.

My mom is always right by my side. She spoils me with a lot of things. She buys me candy and got me an IPod. She helps provide a roof over my head, clothes, food, and other things I need.

These are most of the reasons why my mom is my hero. Maybe your hero is your mom too. I love my mom a lot and I don’t know what I would do without my hero.. I can learn from her mistakes and others mistakes. This is why my mom is my hero.

Where am I?,
Where do I go?,
I’m lost in all these trees,

I know that it can’t be long until they find me
but I know what I have to do,I have to build a fire so they see the smoke,
I gather sticks, and pine cones,
I put them in a pile and grab my lighter,
lucky I still had my bag before I got lost from the others,

I started the fire and smoke goes up rapidly,
then I hear a strange sound,
where’s it coming from?,
I’m afraid,lost,and scared,
I don’t know what to do,
then I see lights, and hear dogs barking,

Then I see people and their calling my name,
HELP,HELP,HELP, I shout

Then I stand up and start to walk towards them,
then I tripped over a stump and a old log fell on my leg,
I screamed in pain,
It felt like a rock being thrown at me,
then they found me and removed the log,
they carried me off,

I had a broken leg, but now I’m safe,
I’m home and recovered and happy that God let them find me,
I will always remember the next time I go hiking,
I will stick with the group,
so I don’t get lost and hurt again.

next comes fudge to be poured,
after fudge comes sprinkles,
all different colors and flavors like skittles,
yellow,red,
blue,pink,and more,
top it with whip cream,
then a cheery,
now it’s ready to be eaten,
sit down,
relax,
and enjoy your ice cream sundae,
enjoy all the cold and sweetness,
bursting with flavor in your mouth.

It was mid July and summer time again and we were all ready to go on a family camping trip again. It was hot outside especially , since we were in Texas. Mom and dad had taken off two days of work to spend time with us. We would leave in a day to head to the Lake. We were all filled with joy and excitement.

The next day we packed the car up with all our supplies and headed off.

We arrived at the lake an hour later and found a spot for camping. we unloaded everything out of the car and placed the boat in the water. We set up everything in place, then hopped onto the boat and left.

After we stopped the boat engine,we got out the fishing poles and hooked them with bait.Everyone casted out their fishing line , except for me! I didn’t know how! my dad looked at me and asked,”well aren’t you gonna fish?” “I don’t know how to cast out my fishing line,”I said. “That’s okay I’ll teach you,”he replied.After he taught me all the steps I needed to know, I tried to cast out my line and it still didn’t work.

I kept trying and trying but I still couldn’t. My brother had been watching us and said,”Hey sis, even though you aren’t the best you’re still good.” I tried one last time and it worked.We all caught some fish, then released them back into the water and headed back to the campsite.

When we arrived back at the campsite, my sister went and got all the firewood, while everyone else got all the other supplies we need.While we did we sang the Sponge bob campfire song.

Once my oldest brother started the fire, we put hot dogs on sticks and cooked them. Once they were ready, we ate them and we were then ready to make some sweet s’mores.They smelled as sweet as a flower.

We stuck the marshmallows on sticks and cooked them until they were done. While we were sitting at the fire , my sister’s marshmallow caught on fire and I thought that she was gonna catch someone on fire!!!!!!!!!!!We finished our crunchy s’mores and then went to bed.

The next day we packed everything up. We made sure that we had everything and then left. Another camping trip had passed, but it was filled with joy and excitement or at least that’s what I thought. We all couldn’t wait till we head their again next year.
