THE DAY

  It was a warm summer day and I was at my nanas house just waking up from a great deep sleep. It was finally the day. I got dressed, packed my bag, ate breakfast, and hopped into the car. My Nana, brother, and I drove off to my uncles house 5 minutes away. I was as excited as a someone winning a 1 Million dollar lottery.

  

We finally arrived and we were all ready to go. My cousin Hunter, my brother Jacob, my Uncle Wes, and I got in the car and drove off. My cousin Cara was too little, so my Nana and Cara went back to my Nana’s house.

 

  We arrived at the water park and went and bought our wristbands. When we were inside we took a look around to find a spot to sit and leave our things. We found a spot and then went to explore. We then saw that the big bucket was  about to pour so we took off our cover ups and ran to the bucket. 3,2,1 we all counted and then all of a sudden……….. WHOOSH!!! We became completely wet.

  

After the big bucket poured on us we went to slide down all the slides on the play obstacle for a while. Next we to the racing slides. We all 4 raced to see who would go down the fastest. My Uncle Wes won because he was the biggest and he started first.

  

We made the choice to go to the wave pool and enjoy the waves. We all grabbed a tube then headed toward the deep water. We then decided to go be lazy and hop in the lazy river. We almost fell asleep while sitting, relaxing, and floating along.

 

Next we got to go to our favorite ride, The Green Extreme. It’s one of the world’s largest uphill Water Coaster rides. We waited and waited and waited and waited for about 30 minutes until we finally reached the top. My uncle Wes and I went together while Hunter and Jacob went together. We had a challenge to see who could scream the loudest. Of course I won.”That’s not fair I wasn’t ready!” shouted Hunter. Fine,you and I can do it again. So we went to the top and rode down together. “Breanna won.”stated Jacob and Uncle Wes. “Fine you win” Hunter said softly.

 

After that we went back to relax in the wave pool and then gathered our things so we could could head home. All of us except me got sunburned. We hopped in the car and headed back to my uncle’s house. On the way we stopped to eat at a Wing Stop.

 

 This day at NRH2O was a great day to remember. I’ll never forget this terrific memory. It reminded me of how lucky I was to have a family and how amazing they are. I learned that it is more enjoyable to do things with others than by yourself.
